So after 17 hours of traveling, we finally arrive and pick up my bag (battered, but all in one piece!). Aunty Pam (my mom's brother's wife) picked us up from the airport. It had already been an eventful day for my grandma, uncle and aunt... My grandma went to check the mail, wearing flipflops that were too big for her, and she tripped and got a pretty bad cut on her head. She ended up getting 14 stitches on her head and lip (which she was very proud of), but thankfully she's okay other than that.
We went to straight to the house after getting picked up, and just hung out outside. The weather was amazing.. cool, breezy.. My cousins came over and we had Chinese food which was delicious. So much better than back in Gville.
Everyone left around 10pm.. 4 am for us. After being awake for 24 hours straight, we finally went to bed. We passed out instantly and woke up only 6 hours later, not being able to fall back asleep. And here we are.. we'll probably try to get a little more sleep since it's still only 6:30. Pictures will be posted later!
